Cyclist critically injured in Southeast Portland hit-run

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a car while on her bicycle in Southeast Portland early Sunday morning, authorities said.

At 3 a.m., officers responded to reports of a woman in the road near the 2200 block of Northeast 82nd Avenue.

Police said they arrived, finding a woman with critical injuries.

Early morning shooting in Pearl District leaves two hospitalized

She was taken to a hospital by ambulance and officials say her current condition is unknown at this time.

Early investigation found the woman was riding her bicycle when she was hit by a car.

Police say the driver had left the area before police arrived and has not yet been found.

The incident is currently under investigation.
