CTA Red Line passenger’s head stomped during Wrigleyville robbery

Chicago police have released images of a person wanted for beating, robbing and stomping a passenger’s head earlier this month in Wrigleyville.

Around 11:40 a.m. Feb. 1, the victim, a 33-year-old man, was riding Red Line train in the 900 block of West Addison Street when the alleged robber struck them in the face, took their property and stomped on their head, Chicago police said.

The 33-year-old man declined medical attention and police were still looking for the attacker.

Authorities encouraged individuals to report suspicious activity and be aware of their surroundings.

Anyone with information on the incident should call Public Transportation Detectives, (312) 745-4447.
