The Gestapo of Nazi Germany had the power of “protective custody.” That meant they could arrest and imprison people indefinitely without a trial or evidence. Sound familiar?

You bet it does! The ICE-stapo (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents) is operating in the same manner. Eight people have been shot and killed by federal agents during President Donald Trump’s second term. Investigations into these matters have been stymied under the leadership of ICE-stapo heads Kristi Noem (before she was fired) and now Markwayne Mullin. U.S. authorities have generally refused to cooperate with or release evidence to local authorities for a proper investigation.
