Four people were killed and eight injured in three crashes on Arkansas roads Dec. 5 and Sunday, according to preliminary police reports.
Around 3:26 p.m. on Dec. 5, Jaime Dieffenbacher, 43, of Batesville, was killed when her car was struck by another vehicle at Arkansas 104 and Arkansas 270 near White Hall, a report from the Arkansas State Police says.
Dieffenbacher was driving south on Arkansas 104 in a 2012 Chrysler 200 when she failed to stop at a stop sign and a 2021 Toyota 4Runner heading west on Arkansas 270 struck the driver’s side of the Chrysler, the report says.
Madelyn Evans, 21, of White Hall, the Toyota’s driver, and a minor who was riding in the Chrysler and was not identified in the report, were injured in the crash, the report says.
Also on Dec. 5, James Ramsey, 69, and Breonna Martin, 30, both of Harrison, were killed in a five-vehicle crash at about 4:50 p.m. on U.S. 65 in Harrison, a state police report says.
Both Ramsey and Martin were in vehicles heading south when they were struck by a northbound 2014 Ford F150 that had crossed into the southbound lanes, the report says.
Ramsey was a passenger in a 2008 Toyota Tundra, which was struck first, the report says.
The collision caused the Toyota to rotate, and it was struck by a southbound 2004 Chevrolet Colorado, the report says.
The Ford continued north, striking a southbound 2014 Nissan Versa driven by Martin, the report says. The Nissan was then struck by a fifth vehicle, which was not identified in the report.
Christopher Langley, 52, of Greenbrier, the Ford’s driver; Joshua Massengale, 51, of Harrison, the Toyota’s driver; Hayden Martin, 18, of Harrison, the Chevrolet’s driver; and Brock Andreasen, 28, of Jefferson City, Mo., the fifth vehicle’s driver, were all injured in the crash, the report says.
At about 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jeffrey Perry, 40, of Russellville was killed in a motorcycle crash outside Russellville, a report from state police says.
Perry was driving a 2025 KTM 1290 west on Dwight Mission Road when he struck a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado heading east as it turned left onto Grand Vista Drive, the report says.
The Chevrolet’s driver, Frederick Goodyear, 62, and passenger Cynthia Goodyear, 64, both of Hector, were injured in the crash, the report says.
