VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Law enforcement officers teamed up to bring joy to children and their families during the annual Cops & Kids event on Monday, December 22nd in Valley City.
Valley City Police Lt. Dana Rustebakke said the fun event helps families who could be going through a hardship such as financial, a traumatic event or the loss of a loved one. The children and officers enjoyed a supper at Pizza Corner before heading down main to shop for gifts at Handy Home and Hardware.
Any individual or businesses who would like to donate to Cops & Kids, should make checks payable to James/Valley Lodge #4, Attention: Cops, and Kids.
You can also drop off monetary donations or mail them to the Valley City Police Department or call Dana Rustbakke at 701-845-3110.
