Lisbon, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-Gabe Clifton (junior) went 4-0 at the 152 pound weight class that ended with a dominating win over Mathias Dahlstrom (number 1 seed)of Oakes 22-6 TF 6:00. Clifton (3 seed) opened the tourney  with a pair of wins by fall on Friday night and then defeated the number 2 seed Ryan Enge of Lisbon convincingly with a 12-3 MD in the semifinals. The Cards finished in 12th place overall with 85 team points. Mandan topped the 20 team field with 224.5 points followed by Lisbon (213), Oakes (176), Bismarck Saint Mary’s (168.5), Devils Lake (139), Border West, MN. (138), Central Cass (129.5), Kindred (126), EEK (119.5), LaMoure (102), Breckenridge-Wahpeton (90). The Cardinals had 14 wrestlers competing in the 2 day event with 4 other placers including Landin Clifton (7th grade) was 4th at 107, Mason Cook (8th grade) finished 6th at 114, Jaxson Wilson (8th grade) 5th at 133, and Charlie Jorgenson (Jr.) 8th at 285.
