Join ABC7 Los Angeles, the City of Monterey Park will host the 2026 Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday, January 31 from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday, February 1, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
The City of Monterey Park, event producer World Journal and all our food vendors, entertainers and merchants invite you to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Horse.
Monterey Park’s Lunar New Year festival features vendors offering unique gifts and specialty items, food booths with various types of delectable items, amusement rides, and lots of live entertainment. The traditional New Year lion and dragon dancers will kick off the festival Saturday morning. A variety of entertainment options will be featured on both days. A carnival fun zone will be featured in the parking lot at the corner of Garvey and Lincoln Avenues.
While at the event, don’t miss your opportunity to visit the ABC7 Street Team tent to win some prizes and get your photo taken in our photobooth experience.
