BISMARCK – Century scored the first two goals of the match and held on for a 2-1 win Thursday over Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Soccer at the Sanford Sports Complex.

Norah Green scored for the Patriots (9-3-3) in the third minute and Joycee Jacobsen doubled the Century lead in the 27th minute.

Jamestown’s goal came from the foot of Ella Sedlacek, who was set up by Brielle Martin in the 34th minute.

Anna Lunde made six saves in goal for the Blue Jays.

Jamestown, with 30 points, is third in the WDA standings with one regular season match remaining.  It will happen Saturday in Minot, when the Blue Jays and Minot North will complete a match that was suspended due to inclement weather on May 8 with the Sentinels leading 1-0.
