CASPER, Wyo. — Casper area residents will be able to take advantage of some prime weather today, with the National Weather Service predicting clear conditions and moderate temperatures to get the weekend underway.
NWS forecasts indicate sunny conditions are likely, with a high temperature near 68 degrees in the forecast. The weather could become moderately windy as the day progresses, with 32 mph gusts possible in the afternoon.
Conditions should grow mostly cloudy at night, and the NWS reports that temperatures will drop to a low around 48 degrees. Winds are expected to remain fairly constant from earlier in the day.
Sunday will likely begin with clear conditions like Saturday, but the NWS reports there will be a 30% chance of scattered showers after 5 p.m. The day should otherwise be mostly sunny, with a high near 60. Wind gusts could near 40 mph, forecasts indicate.
