Cardinal Runners Compete in Regionals

COOPERSTOWN (NewsDakota)- While it was a postseason meet, for Carrington cross country, it was one last chance to get ready for state.

The Cardinal girls had five in the top 100 while the boys had all five state qualifiers run as well at the Regional meet in Cooperstown on Saturday.

The boys were paced by Chayse Steadmon, who ran a 19:46.7 while Henry Pavelko recorded a 20:54.7.  For the Cardinal girls, Macy Fiebiger was 29th with a 21:49.9 while Jaedyn Lura finished top-50 with a 22:30.6.  Grace Inglish ran a 22:36.6 and Kahri Kollman registered a 23:49.6 while Joie Helseth ran a 24:31.4.

Carrington will compete in the Class B State Meet at the Jamestown Country Club on Friday, October 24th.
