In connection with Boreal Forest Stories, a collaborative arts and sciences exhibition currently at the museum, writer and essayist Corinna Cook will give a free talk on “Loamy Histories: The Human Imagination Beneath the Boreal Forest.” In Corinna’s talk, the archaeology of Alaska-Yukon borderlands will offer a window into some of our ancient, collaborative, human inheritances, Corinna will draw on rock and soil to look at disaster, migration, and kindness.
