Ron Bunch has resigned as chief executive officer of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, according to a Chamber press release. No other details were provided.

Bunch started as BG Chamber CEO in December 2010, according to his LinkedIn profile. Previously, he served as head of the Business Development Board of Martin County, Florida.

“His focus on collaboration, investment, and opportunity has helped make Bowling Green a recognized example of sustainable economic growth,” the chamber stated in a press release sent late Tuesday afternoon.

Warren County Judge-Executive Doug Gorman stated in the release that he has been “fortunate” to work with Bunch on several projects.

“In every one, I found him to be a passionate negotiator and advocate for our community,” Gorman stated. “I am proud of the work he has done and all he has been a part of building here. I wish him well in his next venture.”

The chamber is in the process of appointing interim leadership, according to the release.
