HONOLULU (KHON2) — A brush fire seen near Honoapiilani Highway above Kapalua Airport around 12:35 p.m. on Nov. 3, is now 75% contained.
Maui Fire Department said that firefighters worked to contain the blaze at agricultural fields, adding approximately 15 acres had been burned.
MFD added that there were no evacuations ordered, no injuries and no damages reported.

Additional support has been received from the State of Hawaii Airport firefighters, and Department of Land and Natural Resources firefighters.
MFD said that firefighters will remain on scene overnight to work on improving the containment.
