Western Kentucky senior Callie Bauer was named the Conference USA Setter of the Week for the second straight time Monday.

Conference USA announced its Players of the Week for Week 7, with senior setter Callie Bauer earning her second-straight Setter of the Week honor.

In total, Bauer has earned four of the possible seven CUSA Setter of the Week honors so far.

Bauer was the complete package this weekend, earning her keep on both sides of the net and on both rows. Bauer finished the weekend with 66 assists and averaged 11.00 per set while leading the Hilltoppers to a cumulative .431 hitting percentage. Bauer also
led WKU to its first match with a .500+ hitting percentage on Saturday when the Hilltoppers finished with a.518 mark.

The Michigan native also helped WKU post its fewest hitting errors since Sept. 21, 2013, when they posted five against Wright State. As a blocker, she registered one block. On the front row, she recorded a total of six kills on 16 attempts to finish with a .375
hitting percentage and averaged one kill per set. In addition, during her time on the back row, she collected 15 digs and averaged 2.50 per set. She’s currently ranked second in CUSA in assists per set with 9.22.

During the 2025 campaign, Bauer surpassed the 4,000-career assist mark, becoming only the seventh setter in program history to do so. She’s also the leader of a Hilltopper offense that is currently ranked ninth in the country in hitting percentage at .292.

WKU continues conference play against Sam Houston on Friday and Saturday at E.A. Diddle Arena. First serve on Friday is set for 6 p.m.
