Barnes County Road 21 Road Maintenance; Expect Delays | News Dakota

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Motorists will encounter temporary delays due to a chip seal project on County Road 21 (the Lake Road). The road work begins at the intersection of County Road 21 & 12th St. NW in Valley City then continues for approximately 19 miles north to the intersection of North Dakota Highway 26. The project work area will also include 22nd St. SE into Bayshore Resort. Work is expected to be completed by August 28th.
Motorists can expect reduced speeds and delays. Pilot cars and flaggers will guide traffic through the work zone. During road maintenance work, motorists are advised to drive cautiously and to plan for delays, especially during peak travel times.
