SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — October has arrived, and at Avera that means pink and purple hair. Throughout the month, people can get pink hair extensions for just $10. All of the proceeds will go to the Avera Cancer Institute.

“Obviously, everyone has gone through some sort of cancer journey, whether it be with a parent, a grandparent, a friend, a loved one,” Elijah Bonde with the Avera Foundation said. “It’s $10 per extension and all proceeds go back to the Avera Cancer Institute.”
