BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont state police arrested a suspect in a St. Johnsbury shooting from earlier this month.
We told you that 27-year-old Ladjuan Anthony Guichard of Dorchester, Massachusetts, was wanted in this case, facing attempted 2nd degree murder charges for shooting 30-year-old Adam Belliveau.
They say Belliveau is still recovering from his injuries.
Police say they found and arrested Guichard after they got a tip that he was spotted in a rental car in Berlin.
27-year-old Kayla Keithan of St. Johnsbury was in the car with Guichard. She was also arrested but released on a citation, charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Guichard was jailed without bail and is being held at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility in St. Johnsbury. He will be arraigned in criminal court on Friday.
