ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police are investigating a man’s death after officers found him dead inside a home near Arizona Street.

According to police, a neighbor called 911 Saturday evening to request a welfare check near Arizona Street between Lomas Boulevard and Marble Avenue in northeast Albuquerque.

Officers arrived at the home around 6:20 p.m. and found a man dead inside, police said.

Police said evidence at the scene led Albuquerque Police Department homicide detectives to start an investigation.
