High temperatures will be a few degrees “cooler” than Monday. Much of the state reaching the upper 80s & low 90’s. AVERAGE: 79 degrees.
SE winds will be the strongest farther west this afternoon. Sustained winds between 5-15 with gusts up to 25-35 mph.
With no cold fronts in the forecast, southeast winds will remain gusty through Saturday.
A warm & breezy next few days. Wednesday evening brings isolated rain/storm chances across SW Nebraska. Thursday brings very spotty rain/storm chances across the state. There could be a MARGINAL risk for severe weather Thursday due to small hail and gusty winds. A few late rain chances Friday into Saturday. June looks to start hot & dry with better potential after June 6, 2026!
