INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The final day of the 79th annual Historic Irvington Halloween Festival is Saturday and the neighborhood is putting on its annual Street Fest from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The day started with a run/walk and includes costume contests, activities in the Kids Zone, a pumpkin carving contest, and a parade. The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. and is a great way to wrap up the festival, which started last Saturday.

Event organizer Carrie Yazell says hundreds of vendors will be on hand, selling many different kinds of items.

“We have a lot of artisans vendors, and our vendor coordinator does a great job making sure there’s a variety,” Yazell said.

There will also be plenty of food trucks for those who’ve worked up an appetite, a beer garden for guests age 21 and up, and a main stage with live music.
