Ames police have arrested a man in connection to a child’s death last year.
Police and paramedics were called on Nov. 4, 2024, to a home in the 3600 block of Ontario Street for a report of a child not breathing. The child was taken to Mary Greeley Medical Center and later pronounced dead from injuries caused by blunt force trauma.
