The Albuquerque BioPark plans a Mother’s Day event Sunday with a new baby kangaroo, seven performance areas and family activities.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Albuquerque BioPark plans a Mother’s Day event Sunday with a new baby kangaroo, seven performance areas and family activities.

On Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests can stop by the Discovery Station to learn how kangaroo moms care for their joeys. Visitors might also catch a glimpse of the new baby kangaroo.

The Albuquerque BioPark also plans seven performance areas with local music, food and drinks, including a Bloody Mary bar and mimosas.

The event will also include face painting for kids.
