FARGO, N.D. — A major opportunity is coming up this weekend for young agricultural enthusiasts. The annual Ag PhD Scouting & Scholarships event is set to take place this Saturday, June 27, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm in Baltic, SD at Hefty Seeds.  The event offers a full day of education, networking, and financial support for the next generation of farmers.

The event specifically targets high school students, college students, and farmers under the age of 30. Organizers emphasize that anyone looking to deep-dive into agronomy is welcome to attend.

What to Expect

Attendees will participate in hands-on learning sessions focused on field scouting techniques, pest identification, and crop health management. In an effort to keep the event accessible to everyone entering the industry, admission is completely FREE.
