The heat is set to return to New Mexico but with a chance of isolated storms.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Above-average heat is set to return to New Mexico for Tuesday but the chance of monsoon showers and storms will remain.
The chance of storms will be the best on Wednesday, according to the models. That is also when temperatures will be hottest, at least in the Albuquerque metro. Expect highs around 98-99 degrees, then highs hovering around 97 degrees.
