A NICE Thursday Before Active Weather

A NICE & comfortable day across Nebraska under mostly sunny skies! High temperatures ranging from 83° – 90° with dew points in the 50s/60s & light winds! A GREAT day to take off work, play golf, do yardwork or any outdoor activities.

Dew points will feel quite comfortable through much of Thursday. The muggy feeling returns Friday ahead of our next cold front.

SE winds will be rather light. Occasional gusts up to 15+ mph farther west.

Severe Weather Friday: September 11, 2026

A Very isolated & conditional storm threat Friday evening. There is lots of UNCERTAINTY with storm chances through this weekend. Make sure to stay up to date with the latest forecasts!

5-8pm: Isolated storms look to develop from Red Cloud up towards Sioux City. 60+ mph winds, small hail & heavy rain will be possible with these storms IF they form.

Severe Weather Monday: September 14, 2026

Monday into Tuesday keep a close eye on SE Nebraska! A cold front capable of dropping temperatures 20 degrees carrying severe wind & hail will move through Monday evening into early Tuesday.

A BEAUTIFUL Thursday afternoon, before a quick warm up Friday. A bigger cold front Friday night which should bring nice weather to the next Huskers football game. Another strong cold front could bring severe storms across SE Nebraska Monday into Tuesday. More fall like weather after that cold front.
