A Las Vegas man was sentenced Tuesday to 35 years in federal prison for sexual exploitation of children, coercion and enticement, and possession of child sexual abuse material.
Daniel Hennigh also received 35 years of supervised release from U.S. District Judge Gloria M. Navarro, according to a Department of Justice release.
According to court documents, between April 27 and 28, 2025, Hennigh used social media applications to communicate with another individual about sexually abusing children. During that time, he distributed a video he produced of a child in his care.
Hennigh pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of children; one count of coercion and enticement; one count of distribution of child pornography; and one count of possession of child pornography.
“Protecting children and holding those who harm them fully accountable remains one of the FBI’s highest priorities,” Christopher S. Delzotto, special agent in charge for the FBI Las Vegas Field Office, said in the release.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
