A hot and muggy weekend headed our way

Heat and humidity will be on full display this weekend into early next week. Precipitation chances are very small.

Sunny and hot for the weekend.

The heat index on Saturday and Sunday won’t be a LOT higher than the actual temperature, but it will be in the triple digits.

Heat Advisories are in place for much of the western and northern parts of the state Sunday and Monday. The heat index will climb to around 105 each day.

It’s hot this time of year, that’s for sure, but if you stay out in the heat too long, it can have an affect on you. Know the signs!

Most of the weekend looks dry, but some isolated storms are possible Saturday afternoon across the middle part of the state.
