EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WLNE) — The East Bridgewater Police Department said a man is dead after a crash in East Bridgewater Tuesday morning.

Police responded to the intersection of Plymouth Street and Bridge Street just before 7 a.m. for reports of a serious crash.

According to police, two vehicles were involved in the crash, each holding one occupant.

Police said an 86-year-old East Bridgewater man was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

The driver of the other vehicle refused medical treatment, according to police.

The crash remains under investigation.
