When it comes to Madonna, you never know what to expect.

After weeks of heavy speculation about what the iconic singer could be planning next, she took to social media this week to announce that a new album, “Veronica Electronica,” is forthcoming.

If you’re a die-hard Madonna fan, you’re well aware that “Veronica Electronica” is her previously shelved album of remixes from her 1998 “Ray of Light” album. It was supposed to be released back then but unfortunately, that never happened.

According to a press release by Billboard, years later, the album is set to be released on digital and silver vinyl on July 25.

Pumped about the surprise announcement, Madonna took to both Instagram Stories and X to share a teaser for the upcoming release.

The major announcement caused some buzz among the popstar’s fan base, as fans flocked to the comments section to share their reactions.

A fan even called the announcement a “cultural reset.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve found our song of the summer,” one fan replied.

“The Skin remix is everything mother!” another fan commented on X.

The album is already available for pre-order on Madonna’s website.
