A woman has turned herself in after stabbing three children Wednesday afternoon in Greater Grand Crossing, police said.
The kids, a 1-year-old girl and two boys, ages 3 and 5, were dropped off by the woman at St. Bernard Hospital, Chicago police said. They were then transported to Comer Children’s Hospital, where they were listed in serious condition.
The woman, 33, stabbed each of them in the wrist with a sharp object around 5:45 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Harvard Avenue, police said.
She was taken into custody, and charges were pending, police said.
Area detectives are investigating.
