Kislak Company Inc. recently completed sales of two investment properties in Essex County for a combined $6.5 million.

The transactions, each in Livingston, included the $4.5 million sale of Peachtree Apartments, a 51-unit affordable housing complex, and a $2.065 million sale of an 8,100-square-foot retail center, according to a statement by Kislak.

Kislak marketed the apartment complex exclusively on behalf of the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy. They also procured the purchaser, which was not disclosed.

Located at 1101 Jubilee Court, the Peachtree Apartments complex was completed in 2022. It features three buildings offering one-, two- and three-bedroom units for income-qualified applicants.

The retail property at 25 W. Northfield Ave. was built in 1954 and houses a mix of long-term tenants.

The single-story strip center features frontage on West Northfield Avenue and includes on-site parking behind the building.

Matt Weilheimer, managing director, led both sales, working with Tom Scatuorchio, senior vice president, on the apartment complex transaction and Scott Davidovic, senior vice president, on the retail property deal.
