115th State Assembly District special election still undetermined Tuesday night

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – People in the north country are anxiously awaiting the results of the 115th Assembly District special election.

That includes the candidates, Democrat Michael Cashman and Republican Brent Davison, who both have watch parties in Plattsburgh.

As of this story’s publishing, Cashman holds the lead at roughly 53% and Davison at just under 46%.

“We are feeling good. The momentum feels good. Glad to see the election is over. Polls are closed Now, it is up to the voters. See what the voters decided,” said Davison.

“It was about getting out in all four corners of the district, meeting with people, listening to them, learning from them, so that if I am fortunate enough to be elected, to lead on their behalf,” said Cashman.
