Two additional basic shelters have been completed in the Centralnyi District of Kherson.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, reported this on Facebook.
“The shelters have areas of 246 and 348 square meters respectively. They are equipped with everything necessary for people to stay comfortably for extended periods during air raid alerts and shelling. The premises are provided with generators and heat guns that were supplied by our partner donors,” Shanko said.

One of the newly equipped shelters is located in the so-called “red zone,” which is constantly attacked by Russian occupying forces. In such conditions, the presence of a protective structure can save more than one human life.
“We continue working to ensure that more safe places appear in the community for its residents. The safety of Kherson residents is our unconditional priority,” Shanko noted.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, more than 250 mobile shelters have been installed in Kherson.
