Turkmenistan and Pakistan consider developing bilateral relations

AKIPRESS.COM – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Ambassador Pakistan to Turkmenistan Faryal Leghari held a meeting on January 7, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

The sides discussed issues of further implementation of joint measures to promote bilateral relations in the new year.

Particular emphasis was placed on holding the sixth meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, political consultations at the level of the heads of Foreign Ministries of two countries, as well as the Turkmen-Pakistani Business Forum.

The parties also discussed issues related to preparations for visits at the highest state level planned for the current year.

In addition, a list of bilateral documents planned to be signed during the present year was reviewed.
