Suspect detained in Bishkek for large-scale fraud

AKIPRESS.COM – A suspect has been detained in Bishkek for exceptionally large-scale fraud, the police reported.

On October 21, a resident of the capital filed a report with the police. He stated that on September 21, at a market in Novopavlovka village, he gave 8.353 million soms to a man who promised to deliver cement and gasoline, but the victim was subsequently deceived.

Police detained the suspect, A.B., born in 1994, and placed him in a temporary detention facility.

An investigation is underway.
