Preparations for 2025-2026 heating season and coal prices discussed in Batken region – Antimonopoly Regulation Service

AKIPRESS.COM – On September 11, specialists from the Batken Regional Department of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service held a meeting at the Sulyukta mayor’s office chaired by Deputy Governor of Batken region A. Tashbaltayev.

The meeting was attended by the heads of districts and cities of the region, as well as representatives of coal mining companies. During the meeting, preparations for the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026, an analysis of coal accounting, as well as the justification of prices for coal mined in the Sulyukta mines were discussed.

Following the meeting, it was determined that the cost of BR grade coal was 6,000 soms per ton in the summer. Transportation costs will be added depending on the distance to the districts and rural settlements.
