Minister of Justice of Mongolia dismissed

AKIPRESS.COM – Prime Minister of Mongolia Uchral Nyam-Osor has decided to dismiss Sainbuyan Amarsaikhan from his post as Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs, Zogii.mn reported. According to the PM, the situation within the justice and internal affairs sector has reached a critical point, threatening the normal operations of the agency responsible for domestic security and undermining public trust.

In addition to the Minister’s dismissal, Prime Minister Uchral Nyam-Osor issued an order to remove from office all senior and mid-level executives of organizations and agencies under the Ministry’s jurisdiction who are implicated in the incident.

Prime Minister Uchral Nyam-Osor stated at a Cabinet meeting that it is necessary to establish the truth about all the past issues.
