Hungary interested in Kyrgyzstan’s experience in using digital technologies in elections – Ambassador

AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Chairperson of Kyrgyzstan’s Central Election Commission Aidana Jupueva on January 23 met with Hungarian Ambassador Sandor Dorogi.

The sides discussed cooperation in electoral processes and exchange of experience. Dorogi noted Hungary’s interest in Kyrgyzstan’s use of digital technologies in elections and in the implementation of gender quotas.

They also discussed opening a polling station for Hungarian citizens in Kyrgyzstan ahead of Hungary’s parliamentary elections on April 12, 2026.
