Gulcha village to be granted city status – Sadyr Japarov

AKIPRESS.COM – Gulcha village in Osh region will be granted city status, President Sadyr Japarov announced at an event dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Alymbek Datka.

“I instructed the relevant government agencies to consider the issue of granting Gulcha city status,” he said.

In addition, a decision has been made to allocate 500 million soms from the country’s Stabilization Fund for the development of Gulcha’s infrastructure and the complete paving of its streets.

“All this is the result of the policy being pursued to develop each region of our country, including Alay district,” he noted.
