France provides rescue equipment to Mongolia’s NEMA

AKIPRESS.COM – The French Directorate-General for Civil Security and Crisis Management has donated high-angle and water rescue equipment to Mongolia’s National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Montsame reported.

The grant includes 98 specialized tools for mountain and high-altitude rescues, alongside water rescue gear for 50 personnel.

French Ambassador Corinne Pereira highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation in disaster protection and supporting the safety of first responders. To ensure the donation’s effectiveness, the grant also includes professional training to enhance the operational skills and capacity of Mongolian rescuers.
