Family of former President Almazbek Atambaev evicted from Koy-Tash home
AKIPRESS.COM – The family of former President Almazbek Atambaev is being evicted from their home in Koy-Tash.
Videos of law enforcement officers attempting to enter the house were posted online by his children, Kadyr Atambaev and Aliya Shagieva.
There have been no official comments from the authorities.
According to Kadyr Atambaev, his mother Raisa Atambaeva is inside the house.
Previously, the State Property Management Agency announced that the land plot in Koy-Tash had been returned to state ownership by a court decision. The government plans to build a kindergarten and a nursing home on the site.
