92% of target population vaccinated against influenza in Ulaanbaatar

AKIPRESS.COM – Authorities plan to vaccinate over 136,000 residents against influenza and influenza-like illnesses in Ulaanbaatar. To date, 124,947 people have received the vaccine, achieving 92% of the target coverage, Montsame reported.

According to the Governor’s Office, as part of the “Wear Your Mask” campaign, public transport users and the public are being informed about vaccination through posters distributed by relevant authorities and district administrations.

Currently, nine hospitals in the capital city provide a total of 2,614 beds for general care and services, including 759 pediatric beds. Hospitals are currently using 59.2% of available beds and plan to make an additional 1,052 beds available.

Examinations in the first half of 2025 increased by 9.7% compared to the same period last year. Of all examinations, outpatient visits accounted for 49.7%, preventive check-ups 28.8%, home-based active monitoring 13.2%, and dispensary follow-ups 8%.
