The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is appealing to the public for assistance in locating 16-year-old Tia Ramsey, who was reported missing on Monday.
According to a media release issued by the TTPS, Tia Ramsey, of Point Fortin, was last seen on Monday. Police said a missing person report was made at the Point Fortin Police Station later that same day.
Authorities described Tia Ramsey as being of African descent, approximately five feet, six inches tall, with a slim build and black braided hair.
Police said she was last seen dressed in a camouflage jumper suit.
The TTPS is urging anyone who may have seen Tia Ramsey or has information that could assist investigators to come forward as efforts continue to locate the teenager.
Members of the public with relevant information are encouraged to contact the Point Fortin Police Station at 648-0689. Information also can be shared anonymously through 800-TIPS.
Persons may also contact police emergency lines at 555, 999 or 911, or report information to any police station.
The police reminded citizens that information from the public can play an important role in locating missing persons and assisting ongoing investigations.
Anyone who believes they may have seen Tia Ramsey is encouraged to reach out immediately.
