Police say a coordinated search operation was launched after the child was reported missing on May 11th, with officers and multiple agencies conducting searches in surrounding communities and nearby coastal waters where the child was last reportedly seen.

According to the TTPS, several individuals have been interviewed and statements recorded as investigations continue. The matter is currently being treated as a missing person investigation, with the Homicide Bureau and Special Victims Department also providing support.

Police say the child’s parents are assisting investigators as enquiries continue into all aspects of the case, including issues surrounding parental responsibility.
