Regional Teams Compete At Carebaco Seniors Badminton Championship

Day Two of the Carebaco Seniors Badminton Tournament is almost complete, with two more days remaining.

Barbados, Guyana, and Jamaica joined hosts Trinidad and Tobago for the four-day tournament being held at the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua.

There were many exciting matchups in a packed day of action, as was the case with Donovon David and Jamaica’s Stephen Lue-Yen.

It was not a bad opening day for Team TTO, who racked up a fair number of wins but were tested and fell short at times.

It was a good weekend of display for Caribbean talent, with contrasting shows of power and finesse.

The Carebaco Seniors Badminton Tournament concludes on Tuesday, with the Trinidad & Tobago International Future Series beginning the very next day, also at Tacarigua.
