CARICOM IMPACS To Strengthen Regional Partnerships Against Illicit Firearms Trafficking

Building collaboration among partners within CARICOM IMPACS will strengthen cooperation between law enforcement agencies, policymakers, civil society organisations, and international partners. This approach recognises that effective action against illicit firearms trafficking depends on shared intelligence, coordinated strategies, and sustained partnerships across borders. These critical issues will be explored at an upcoming workshop, as highlighted by Deputy Executive Director of the CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (IMPACS), Tonya Ayow.
