The Chairman of CARICOM extended congratulations to the Honourable Gaston Brown, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, on securing a fourth consecutive term in office following the general elections held on 30 April. In a release, the Chairman stated that the commanding victory reflects the continued confidence of the people of Antigua and Barbuda in his leadership and vision for his nation’s development.

The release also congratulated the people of Antigua and Barbuda for upholding the Region’s proud tradition of democracy and peaceful elections.

The Chairman extended best wishes for a successful term in office and for the further advancement of Antigua and Barbuda, and looks forward to continued collaboration as they seek to address the shared challenges facing the Region.
