University teachers may transfer to schools after increase in salaries – Education Minister

AKIPRESS.COM – There are enough teachers, Education Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbayeva said.

“I recently met with graduate teachers. 80% got jobs in schools. Teachers’ salaries will be increased from October 2025 to April 2026. Perhaps, university teachers will go to schools. Before that, academics said that teachers from the Academy of Sciences and universities were going to schools,” the Minister said.

According to her, the requirements for teachers are being tightened.

“Schools are not an employment center. This year, the threshold score for national admission test for pedagogical programs was increased to 130 points,” Kendirbayeva added.
