During the Dushanbe International Investment Forum, Tcell, Tajikistan’s leading digital operator, and international technology company Mawj Platforms announced a strategic partnership to establish a unified digital media ecosystem for Central Asia.
Empowering regional content creators
The partnership brings together Tcell’s robust telecommunications infrastructure and Mawj’s streaming platform—often described as the “Spotify of Greater Central Asia.” Mawj specializes in content in Persian, Dari, Tajik, Pashto, Urdu, and various Indian languages, connecting audiences across Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and the Central Asian region.
The joint initiatives will focus on key areas of the digital economy, including music and video streaming, podcasts, virtual concerts, digital ticketing platforms, and next-generation advertising technologies.
