Registration for Tajik citizens seeking work in South Korea to begin on August 10

Electronic registration for Tajik citizens wishing to take the EPS-TOPIK Korean language exam will begin on August 10, 2026, an official source at the Agency for Employment Abroad under Tajikistan’s Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population told Asia-Plus.

Candidates who successfully pass the selection process will be eligible to apply for jobs in South Korea’s manufacturing sector.

Registration will be held at the Agency for Employment Abroad office in Dushanbe. The registration fee is 330 somoni.

Tajik citizens aged between 18 and 39 may apply, provided they have sufficient knowledge of Korean to take the EPS-TOPIK exam.

Applicants must also have no criminal record, no infectious diseases and no history of deportation from South Korea.

The following information and documents are required for registration:

  • a telephone number;
  • an electronic copy of a valid international passport;
  • a color digital photograph measuring 3.5 by 4.5 centimetres, taken against a white background.

All information must be entered in Latin characters and must correspond exactly to the details in the applicant’s international passport.

The agency warned that errors in the application form could result in the candidate being denied admission to the examination or refused a visa.

Registration will take place at 80 Lohouti Street in Dushanbe.

The Agency for Employment Abroad previously announced the launch of a programme to place Tajik citizens in jobs in South Korea.

Vacancies were offered in manufacturing, construction, agriculture, food production and other sectors. Conversational proficiency in Korean is among the main requirements for applicants.
